Four letters and one petition written by Edward Livingston. Three letters to John McDonogh relate to the status of McDonogh's appeal to the House of representatives Committee of Foreign Affairs (1830). One letter to an unidentified recipient discusses ownership of a deed. The petition of Vincent Gamby, addresses to Dom A. Hall, was filed in New Orleans in July 1815.
